Today, with the development of technology and the rapid introduction of increasingly diverse communication tools into human life, the importance of graphic design practice has increased. In this field, well-trained manpower is needed. The Department of Graphic Design has started to receive students, through the talent exam, in the 2007-2008 academic year. In our department, where 20 students are entitled to receive education each year, students have the opportunity to develop both conceptual thinking skills and practical knowledge and skills with a program shaped by a strong theoretical and practical curriculum. In addition to basic art lessons such as basic art, pattern and art history, they continue their education with basic design courses in the computer lab.

The students of our department will have the necessary equipment to solve the communication problems of our age thanks to the courses they have chosen, such as ad graphic, illustration typography, animation and graphic production techniques. In addition, the library of our University, located in the Uluyazı Campus, provides services, with its rich design and art collection, to our students for their research and projects. In addition to the graphic training workshops, our students also use the printmaking and photography workshops of the Faculty.
